Background:
Mid September nominations were sent in by HBGOnline site visitors
for each awards category.
Voting on the nominations took place from Oct. 1st - Oct.
31st. Over 5,000 votes were recieved. Each individual
vote was checked to make sure there was no cheating. The rules
stated only one vote per day, per email address.
Awards Ceremony:
Appalachian Brewing Company will host the 2006 Central PA
Awards Ceremony on Nov. 16th. The event will be an MTV type
show with awards being presented by local celebrities between
live performances of nominated bands. This event is a first
of it's kind in Central PA and is one you don't want to miss.
The show will be the largest gathering of local musicians
and industry people under one roof. The event will also have
a huge merch. area featuring local band CD's, buttons, stickers,
t-shirts, sponsor info and other cool stuff.
Doors open at 8:00pm for this 21+ event. First award
will be presented at 8:30pm. So get there early and
enjoy a night of fun and a great local music. See below for

event.
PLEASE NOTE: No Video Cameras
are allowed inside the venue.
