| Background:
Mid September nominations were sent in by HBGOnline site visitors
for each awards category.
Voting on the nominations took place from Oct. 1st - Oct.
31st. 5,167 votes were received. Each individual
vote was checked to make sure there was no cheating. The rules
stated only one vote per day, per email address. Some categories
were so close, we counted all votes 3 times to make sure of
the winners.
Awards Ceremony:
Appalachian Brewing Company hosted the 2006 Central PA Awards
Ceremony on Nov. 16th. The event was packed with musicians
from all genres, industry folks and fans of local music. The
crowd size was well over 300!!! Awards were handed out by
local celebrities.
2007 Central PA Music Awards
Sept. 15th, 2007 will start the nomination process
for the 2007 Central PA Music Awards!!! Our 2nd year will
be BIGGER and better. Stay tuned!!!
