present Rockin For Ronald. An ALL AGE multi
band concert and special event to benefit The
Ronald McDonald House.
This ALL AGE ( 21 to drink ) blow out
to benefit the expansion of The Ronald McDonald
House, Hershey is scheduled for Saturday May
17th at Shakeys , 312 Mill St., Hershey. Doors
open at 1pm. Bands play on the hour from 2pm
- 1:30 am inside the club. 11 Band For $10.
Tickets will be available for the kids activities
for those who don’t wish to attend the
concert. Free hamburgers and hotdogs , kids
activities including pony rides, clowns ( with
balloon art and face painting ), dunking booth,
bouncy house and acoustic music outside. Sheltered
seating provided for those who wish to enjoy
the day outdoors. Kids activities run from 3pm
to 7pm . WQXA 105.7 The X personalities will
be on site throughout the event to announce
the bands.
The Ronald McDonald House is expanding
to accommodate more families of children in
the hospital. Last year hundreds of families
were unable to stay near their children because
the house was full. The fact that the families
stay at the Ronald McDonald House free of charge
is merely one benefit of the program. Parents
and family members gain support of the caring
staff, are able to stay near their children
and the kids are comforted knowing that their
families are close by. For more information
