November 12 & 13, 2005 The Arts of the Angler. A show devoted to the arts and crafts of the angler:
Fly Tyers, Cane Rod Building, and Collectibles. Featuring some of the finest flytyers including: Keith Fulsher, Paul Ptalis, David Brandt, Floyd Franke, John Likakis, Mike Martinek, Joe 'Honey' Soma, and over 30 others. Saturday: A tasting of Salmon Run Wines at 5:30 followed by a special live auction of collectibles including lures, cane rods, artwork, flies, and more at 7PM. Sunday, the Fastest Tyer in the East Tie Off sponsored by Raymond C. Rumpf and Son Fly Tying Materials and O. Mustad and Partridge fly tying hooks. Daily admission $10. January 6-8, 2006 The fifth annual The World of Flyfishing Show. Featuring some of the world's greatest fly fishing celebrities including: Lefty Kreh, Bob Popovic, Jack Dennis, Keith Fulsher, Arnie Gidlow, Fran Verdoliva, Phil Monahan, Philip Krista, and over 35 world recoginized fly tyers (the Vise Squad) and authors. Classes on fly tying, rod building, caddis jewelry making, and spey casting. 3 days of seminars, demonstrations, and clinics to make any fly fisherman a better fly fisherman. A large array of vendors will be on hand with the latest in tackle, fly tying materials, books, collectibles, destinations, and accessories. Casting Pool, Arnie Gidlow's Virtual Trout Stream, and other on show floor excitement. This is the go to show of the year. To be held at the O'Neill Center on the West Side Campus of University of Connecticut in Danbury CT. Daily admission $10
