Pan.a.ce.a has hit a homerun with their newly released full-length album. The quartet from Wilkes-Barre recorded this gem at Saturation Acres with producer Bret Alexander (The Badlees). All the tracks on the album sound huge. Vocalist Tim Farleys voice is like a mixture between Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin), and Jason Wade (Lifehouse). Lyricly the songs are solid and the hooks are plentiful. The guitar riffs and progressions written by Paul Young are smooth and catchy. The song “Too little to late” has a similar sound to that of Incubus and the Deftones. While stylistically this band is similar to the modern rock greats listed above they do have their own sound and each member stands out in the recordings. The tight rhythm section of Matt Jaffin(Bass) and Kevin Harry(Percussion) keep all the tracks in time and sounding great. This album is one of the top records I have heard from an unsigned band in quite a while. If you enjoy music from modern rock bands such as the ones listed above I would go pick this album up. You wont be dissappointed! - CD Review by Jazz
